HOT FUN IN THE SUMMER TIME

These have kind of a weird story: back in 2020 during the early days of the pandemic nobody was really sure what was happening. We designed this series of drive pedals all made with through-hole parts so we could hand-build them instead of relying on surface-mount robots. We hand-built dozens of pedals. We even had a demo video made. But the opportunity to launch these guys just never presented itself. Now we’ve got all these pedals on a shelf and they really need to go out there and rock.

Each colour is a different drive pedal, based on classic designs with modern touches. They all rule, so collect the whole set!

Each pedal in the Outrun Series has a completely different gain structure, clipping setup, and tone-shaping characteristics. While they will all make your instrument louder and dirtier, they all have their own unique style.

Outrun Green: Soft-clipping overdrive with a vintage feel. Toggle selects between mid-boosted and bass-boosted tones. May or may not make your tubes scream.

Outrun Yellow: Hard-clipping op-amp distortion with a JFET output buffer. Toggle selects normal and turbo clipping modes. Enjoys cheese, hates cats.

Outrun Pink: Stripped-down and juiced-up version of our Hot Pink Drive. Contour control is an active mid boost / cut, and toggle selects two clipping modes.

Outrun Orange: High-gain distortion. Toggle engages a separate boost circuit to slam the distortion input for extra sustain. Radio friendly unit shifter.

Power Supply:

All of the Outrun Series require DC power supply with a 2.1mm pin, center negative.  Each pedal will operate on power supply voltages up to 18V and does not use a battery.  Outrun Series pedals should work fine on a multi-pedal "daisy chain" connector, but if you encounter excessive noise or hum try a separate power supply.
